Free1st Annual ArcLight Sporting Clays Invitational a SUCCESS
ArcLight hosted its’ First Annual Sporting Clays Invitational on April 19th with proceeds going to support the Stand in the Gap Ministries. More than 55 people participated in the event at the Tulsa Gun Club on April 19th. “What a great day we had together. We had so much fun.” noted Brian Largent, ArcLight CEO. “I am already excited about hosting this event again next year.”
The event was also used to raise funds for Stand in the Gap Ministries, a non-profit organization that is all about connecting people in need with people who care. TJ Warren, Executive Director, commented, “We were delighted to participate in this incredible event with ArcLight and so thankful for all of the generous and encouraging support of our amazing mission to help orphans, widows and prisoners.”
More than $4,500 was raised for Stand in the Gap Ministries. “I absolutely loved partnering with ArcLight and so grateful for all the support for our ministry,” commented Bonnie Presley, Director of Donor and Community Enrichment for the ministry.
“Shooting sporting clays is somewhat like playing golf with a shotgun,” explains Brian Largent, ArcLight CEO. “We walked the 10-station course and at each station one shooter at a time would safely shoot orange sporting clays that were mechanically launched in the air with varying angles and speeds.”
A huge thank you to Mark Anders with Paylocity for sponsoring our delicious lunch from 2 POPS Catering.
And a special thanks to Terry Dupree and Bob Laudett at the Tulsa Gun Club for guiding us through the entire event.
Attendee comments:
- “Excellent job ArcLight.”
- “Everyone I spoke with had such a great time.”
- “I can’t believe this was your first attempt. Everything went off without a hitch.”
- “Already looking forward to the next one.”
